Now we take the pleasant journey to France on the easy trail that runs alongside Bellecombe 1& 2 until you reach the start of the Chardonnet chair lift. This short but steep run and the lift that serves it, will take you to the 2400m high Col De La Traversette.

On the other side of La Traversette the ski area of La Rossiere stretches out in front of us. La Rossiere is easy to reach, and we can choose from a number of relatively easy slopes leading to the village. Upon reaching the village we are immediately thrilled by the impressive, sharp and massive shape of the Pourri mountain and the enormous shape of the "barracks" of Les Arcs 2,000.
