The name Civetta district refers to a large area on the Dolomites that includes part of Agordino, with the charming resorts of Alleghe, which lies on the harmonymous lake, the Valzoldana and the Val Fiorentina. The Civetta Chain, after which the district is named, overlooks Alleghe with its northern face, which is well-known to mountain climbers from all over the world as the reign of the sixth degree. In winter time the area offers skiing lovers no less than 80 kilometres of ski runs: a close net of courses that unwind mainly at high altitudes.
