This large area, historically belonging to the Cadore district, is dominated by the Antelao, Sorapis and Pelmo mountains. It stretches along the Boite stream, very close to Cortina d'Ampezzo, between Valle di Cadore and San Vito di Cadore. 
It includes many tourist resorts like Borca, Vodo and Cibiana. They all offer visitors natural and artistic beauties. The small village of Cibiana, for example, is famous all over the world as the "village that paints its history" ....... because of the extraordinary murals painted by well-known artists on the facade of its ancient houses. They give a visual account of the history of the village and its inhabitants. In winter many opportunities for skiing. The magnificent walks on the snow with the "ciaspe" (traditional snow-shoes). Entertainment and festivals, folklore and the typical gastronomy ensure a holiday featuring warmth, fun and the culture of hospitality.

HOW TO ARRIVE

BY AIR: VENICE, "Marco Polo" Airport (150 km) INNSBRUCK (175 km).

BY RAIL: Closest railway stations: Calalzo (23 km) and Dobbiaco (45 km). There is a direct coach service to and from the stations.

LIFTS: Total 3:2 chairlifts - 1 ski-lift

Snow Making Machines: available for a total of 15 km.
