Heliskiing in and around Courmayeur is also a possibility for better skiers. By renting a helicopter with a group of good skiing friends you will be able to ski in many paces where few have tracked before. Heliskiing will leave you with the energy to do what you came for...ski. It is a great way to ski amongst the glaciers and unmarked trails that are plentiful around the Mont Blanc chain. A word to the wise tho. when you are investing in a helicopter pay a bit more and hire a qualified guide.
